The Talos Principle 3
I truly enjoyed both The Talos Principle and The Talos Principle 2. Well done with both these products.

When can we expect The Talos Principle 3?

The puzzles are sure fun to do, The story component just makes the whole game more enjoyable.

Under "normal circumstances" i would say they will make Serious Sam 5 first, BUT since SS4 (and SS3?) wasn't THAT successfull, they may straight head on to TTP3 development which will take at least 4 years.
Maybe SS5 will be developed by a group close to Croteam, as it was with SS-Siberian-Mayhem, but not by Croteam itself.
With TTP2 Croteam get rid of their Serious Engine, but i doubt UE5 can handle hundrets of enemies on the screen, so this maybe a reason why we won't see a SS5 directly developed by Croteam.

Somewhere I did see in a media document somewhere that Croteam has made a permanent change to Unreal engine, due to unable to keep up with the rapid evolving game engines available. Thus going forward any product being developed directly by Croteam will be Unreal based.

The puzzles are super fun to do, even if I can do many of them under a minute, even some of the gold gate ones.

They should have used UE4, have been playing a couple of games made with UE4 and they look way better than TP2.

Remember when they released this "gameplay footage" of PS5, showing the "power of the Unreal Engine 5":

There is no game today that even come close to this LOL

They just showed "The Power of UE5", not the power of current available Video-Cards! Nobody can tell if the footage was recorded in realtime. They want just to tell us that UE5 is basically capable of generating such graphic quality - but to run it in realtime you'll need a "RTX 6090"....

They literally say in the video "actual gameplay footage", what game is that?
the matrix experience, no? alan wake 2 (not ue5, but still impressive looking)?

Jesus, it's not about engine. it's about resources and budget. art direction, etc.

let's compare AAAA games with an indie studio, riiight.

A Plague Tale: Requiem , Even Rise of the Tomb Rairder can look excellent at times.

The upcoming Hellblade 2 should look amazing like that or even better. also The Talos Principle 2 looks stunning on many areas.

I would prefer a TP2 expansion with MUCH harder puzzles

They still didn't get the water reflection right in the UE5. In UE4 looks great.

In UE5 they look grainy and glitchy, it's like the resolution changes depending of the angle you are looking at it. It looks real bad, specially when you are moving.

Even in this unfinished game here (you can play the demo) which uses UE4, the water reflection looks perfect. I dare to say I even prefer these graphics here, the lighting, at least to me looks better:

Really loved the art direction in this game, gonna be great:

DLAA / DLSS quality / TSR native + some smart reshade sharpening. FSR and other options look meh, I agree
