Can't find "Lost Puzzles"

I finished puzzles 1-8 in the Eastern lowlands, built the bridge to the tower and turned on the first beam at the Pyramid, but I cannot seem to find the lost puzzles in this level. I have run everywhere, and I see their representations on the markers for the gate and the number puzzles, but They do not even give the direction to go to find the lost puzzles. I would appreciate some guidance.
