Different Mayor Save

Does anyone happen to have a save just prior to talking to Mayor Hermanubis at the megastructure that I can use which would allow me to make Rand the Mayor? I played the game a second time and made some mistakes with my choices and that achievement is the last one I cannot achieve with my save. I don't think I have it in me to speedrun the game a 3rd time just for that.

Here[drive.google.com] are the saves for each achievement, just load the save and finish talking to Neith to get it.

The save files are located in '%LOCALAPPDATA%\Talos2\Saved\SaveGames', rename them into 'savedata_X.sav' where X can be 0,1,2 for each slot.

when I add these files to the save folder, Steam, in any case (with the cloud enabled/disabled, as well as when cloud files are deleted), uses the .vdf file for the main game

how to switch to the saves you gave?

I don't understand, sorry. steam_autocloud.vdf doesn't contain any save data, it's just how Steam tracks which account the save belongs to. Did you rename the save you wanted to load properly?

I have a feeling that what actually happens is that they kept Steam Cloud enabled. So they modify their save file, start the game, Steam Cloud reverts their manual changes back to how it was, and this has no effect. Solution - disable Steam Cloud temporarily.

And to the other person wondering, no I had steam cloud disabled. I had simply messed up the questions at one point and Rand became unavailable as an option to become mayor.

Thanks, totally worked mate, I was just missing those 2 achievements and honestly I wasn't feeling like redoing the whole game just for that, just take my points :)

You have to also send the Somnodrone data ONLY to Rand during interview in West 2 I believe.
