So, this is the only solution to this unmarked puzzle in North 1 right?

Pretty sure that's the intended solution, yes.

Ha, I've been waiting for one of the solutions to require thinking outside the box.

In all seriousness, I'm sure this isn't the solution. But if I were on Croteam, I totally would do something like this, just to mess with people.

There are "somethings like that" in the game. Definitely less than in the first one though. I feel like this game is less well thought out overall. Which means that if you can take something out of a puzzle for example, it might not mean anything, it might just be jank and not intended by the devs.

Ah, so it IS possible to jump across there. That's what I tried first, but failed to jump across so I did the "intended" solution :D

Don't remember the solution exactly but IIRC the connector you're holding should be on top of the walkway behind you, the one you can get on via the fans.

I visited the puzzle again and it was straightforward: After you free your second character and the second connector you route the blue beam via a connector on the balcony and the levitating connector to the exit door.

No it's not the only solution, you can solve it properly.

Here's a "proper" solution: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r6VoDeGemtc

Quite a lot of puzzles like that.

Jumping off onto the roof from outside and literally walking straight into the exit is as dumb as it can get so it definitely takes the cake, although I still enjoy this one:

It's just so easy and obvious. By looking at the walls for one second you could immediately think "oh I think I could climb that" and break the puzzle. How it got past QA I have no clue.

its just one intended unintended solution. If they didn't want you to find alternative solutions they could easily fix this in a minute. Thankfully Crotream like to keep fun in their games

Heh you have a lot more faith in Croteam's QA than I do.
Bet this gets patched away in the next major update.

No. If they wanted it gone its a "one minute" job in the editor.
CroTeam really like when people find ways to solve puzzles besides the intended way. (Not my words, direct from devs keyboards). SEARCH the General Discussions.
