In all seriousness, I'm sure this isn't the solution. But if I were on Croteam, I totally would do something like this, just to mess with people.
There are "somethings like that" in the game. Definitely less than in the first one though. I feel like this game is less well thought out overall. Which means that if you can take something out of a puzzle for example, it might not mean anything, it might just be jank and not intended by the devs.
Don't remember the solution exactly but IIRC the connector you're holding should be on top of the walkway behind you, the one you can get on via the fans.
Jumping off onto the roof from outside and literally walking straight into the exit is as dumb as it can get so it definitely takes the cake, although I still enjoy this one:

It's just so easy and obvious. By looking at the walls for one second you could immediately think "oh I think I could climb that" and break the puzzle. How it got past QA I have no clue.
Bet this gets patched away in the next major update.
