Are there any points of no return in the game?

Would anyone who finished the game be so kind and tell us, without spoilers, whether there will be any "points of no return" after Chapter 4?

I'm in a position where I can activate the last tower if I want to, and I've got a couple of puzzles left, and a few stars. I can see that you probably need all 4 triangular lights on the golden gates to be active to open them, so I can theorise that I will be able to return to the 12 puzzle areas after I activate the last tower and do whatever story bits there are at the end of Chapter 4.

However, are there any points of no return to watch out for? For example, if you finish the game (maybe for the sake of the story) and you haven't collected all the stars - are you able to restore backups, like it was in TTP1, and easily return to those missed stars?
Please if someone can shed some light without spoilers, that would be nice 🙂

There is a point of no return in the game, near the end of it.

However, as soon as you finish the game completely, your save will be restored back to the point right before that "no return", and you will be able to freely solve the puzzles you missed or go into the endgame again to try different endings.
