I found TSR to be by far the fastest on my 6650XT (in Linux/Proton), and I was ignoring the shimmering (playing in 1080p)
Ryzen 7600 (not X, but OC'd slightly to 5.3ghz - not that it'd make any difference)
6650XT
1080p - all XeSS Quality.
Manjaro Linux/Proton Experimental

In movement (yes, I'm one of the six people in the world who like motion blur):

Static, and I thought it looked pretty. Note the higher frames, less tree geometry = better FPS - at other locations it's 30-40fps or ocassionally, a bit better:

I have noticed strange behaviour when changing settings though (IE the framerate halving down to sub-15fps, or even sub 10 in some places) but I'll get better evidence of that another time (and without the console enabled, arf) and post a separate thread as I don't see reports of changing GPU settings affecting other people (the majority of whom would be on Windows) so it might just be a Proton thing.
Always clears up after a quit, and restart, of the game....
