Sphinx is fine as is I think. It's difficult to figure out but once you do, it's okay. Where the statue overlooks and which other puzzles are visible from that one are natural hints.
What do you mean "both"? IIRC all switch based Sphinx problems involve 3 switches, check your map again.
Pandora stars kinda give in because she's holding a green laser thingy up there, but I have no idea on how to read the plaque.
I had to search a green laser on the near surroundings because the hint did nothing for me.
Can someone explain how to read that plaque below? I don't know what am I'm looking at.

That said, the demo had both of them automatically connected to a relay which may have made it easier to figure it out. The one in South 1 still does, no?
About the part where you mentioned the demo, I have no idea 'cos I didn't even remember seeing anything like that in the demo. I posted the link to image to ask for help but I didn't know where that is from because I found a almost identical one on East 3 (at least it looks almost identical to me, which makes it even more difficult to interpret what it means).
In the first game, I never got a single star because it was extra stuff and I had no idea about the logic behind btw.

it's seems pretty clear that "X marks the spot", right? Well, I searched that area for 2 hours and couldn't find anything. That's how hard it is for me to read pictures. Unless it's underground, but I was too tired to keep looking and went to bed last night.
As for that one, it took a bit of searching but it is indeed X marks the spot, and not underground. If it helps in any way: it's a lever on a concrete block.
On man, I see I'm gonna have trouble with the next stars by the looks of things.
Anyway, thanks a bunch! At least I have a grasp now about how to read these pictures.
The one in Demo was unique since you cant use the intended puzzle.
