newer mind, i just got there. The Map is pretty explanatory.
I'll put a couple levels of hints
Hint 1: It is a map and you are meant to find something where the x marks
2: It is a hidden switch and it is near a small structure
3: The switch is on the side of a piece of cut stone that looks like it broke off a square pillar
There is a puzzle in E3 that has it and there is a fixed connector outside which you can connect to green beam to redirect the green beam to another puzzle to finish the Pandora's star.

Like really, you can't entirely hide the switch if your indicative area is that generic.
