"YOUR GAME DOESN'T WORK ON MY SHEETY CONFIGURATION, I AM GOING TO REFUND!!!"
game uses almost the latest engine, it should be obvious it requires latest things on OS level
There's plenty of reasons to use LTSC over Pro, and it works just fine 99% of the time.
And obviously I'll refund if the game won't start.
LTSC version of windows is designed for using in office in big companies. My best guess you installed it because there were tons of "anti-telemetry guides" proposing this version of Windows over other versions.
So now you see why it is bad idea. And most likely devs will not make the game work with older DX12 shader model. It simply doesn't pay off.
Are you on the 2021 version? I'm on the 2018 version, which I suspect may be missing some minor feature that the game requires.
The base of it is to use key functions of a program that doesn't change or update overtime.
Unless you trying playing on a medical systems computer for MRI/CAT scans or air traffic controls and other permanent uses, you have no real reason to install it.
Seen many reasons people want to use this OS on gaming computer and none of them actually made sense. Most of them are usually conspiracy theories about Windows 10 because it's free yet they use another OS of the same company!
You can always try going to Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 but f you don't want to pay to upgrade to the 2021, just buy yourself a customer version of Windows 10 and be done with these issues lol.
I don't know if this is still the case, but Windows 10 updates used to be a gamble; they were forced and could wreck your system for no obvious reason.
When weighing that against the tiny amount of things that may not work, then LTSC was the obvious choice.
It was pretty annoying to obtain, but I was able to buy it through my company.
Excluding this one, only two games have had any issues:
1) Phasmophobia's text to speech feature (fixed now that it lo longer uses Cortana to work)
2) Inviting people to your crew in Sea of Thieves (fixed by installing Game Bar)
I intend to attempt an upgrade when I can, as I do actually want to play the game.
You're right. A lot of missing in that version. Update to 21H2
levels are overlighted
but out side everything is ok
