SPOILER:
if the puzzle you are stuck is the one i am thinking of, then before switching the fan on, you put the cube on the fan and then the connector on the cube, but make sure to connect the connector to both the blue source and the fan receptor (even though there is a barrier, you will need this once the connector is up in the air), so after that take the second connector and connect it again to source and fan receptor, now the first connector should sustain itself and you can grab the second connector near the final sigil gate
And it's solvable, it's one of the old ones from Talos 1 copypasted over (more or less), little hint: it's all about where you place that first blue connector; look at the walls... more info: the blue blocked part is important, but so is the end of the wall behind which you need to place more connectors... basically it's just about the angle of the blue connector, outside the blue wall; don't put it up against the blue wall/blocked part, but away from it, behind the normal wall, at an angle so that it can still forward the blue laser to both positions: behind the blue wall and behind the normal wall where you'll put the other connector(s)
