Best of luck with Unreal 5.2, though. Fornite's huge multiplayer count ability will make for a REAL Serious Sam game, the way it was meant to be played ! ! !
Everything else was ok, except those bad animations on the human npc and players.
Its quite obvious that Alen the main brain behind the engine left and this costed allot on Sam 4's development.
Sounds as bad as typical Unity and CryEngine.
So I guess it's safe to assume Talos 2 will be another botched UE title.
Still, where did everyone hear about the engine change?
Not sure if they've officially announced it but you can see in all the footage that it's Unreal.
Its not that hard to think why the engine change considering Croteam lost their main engineer that made the engine.
Lots of talks there. One of the developers said yes. It might be the publisher's decision also.
Since you know Croteam can't spend more years updating an engine that simply works worse with each new game. But also because they lost their main lead engine designer to Google Stadia and then Roblox.
