Complaint: Why are Windows saves in LocalLow and not Roaming?
https://www.thewindowsclub.com/local-localnow-roaming-folders-windows-10

"Local" is for files that should not be backed up or transferred. (Usually, large caches.) Neither tools or people are advised to back up anything in this folder. And this isn't a side-effect; the entire point of the folder is to say "Don't back this up." Isn't this EXACTLY the wrong choice for save data?

Today, the developers asked people to backup save files in LocalLow in case something goes wrong with their update. This is a red flag to me; if there's ever a reason for something to be backed up by a user -- not by a developer testing a cache or something weird -- it should be in Roaming. Or Documents, I guess, but AppData\Roaming is intended for "settings" that aren't a "document".

La-Mulana 2 isn't the only offender on my machine, but there aren't many, especially in the "LocalLow" folder which is obscure and usually a mistake. Hollow Knight and Torment: Tides -- other Unity games -- are also doing it. So my guess is this is poorly-configured use of Unity, and should simply be fixed.

Even Roaming isn't a good place for save data, it should not be in AppData period, hate any game that does that

And to put reasons to that, AppData is for the applications settings and setup data, data which is temporary or local to that machine, not persistant data that needs or could be backed up

The mentioned folder (C:\Users\[user_name]\AppData\LocalLow\NIGORO\LaMulana2) was also used for the Kickstarter backer keys to unlock clothes ASAP (\Keys\presentkeys#.pre).

It also currently holds debug (crash logs, analytics) and config (controller and keyboard mappings) files, reforcing the idea that the path is default for some global temp / cache / debug PATH variable in Unity... At least the Saves and Config should be moved to (%UserProfile%\Documents\nigoro) on a future patch, to match the first game.
