People locked out for days
Exploits - new bugs
Speaking of bugs - YOU DIDNT FIX ANY!!!
My review stands to any new people who are waiting for this game NO and NO.
Its a wipe for no reason every year with zero new content. No new systems, and no bug fixes.
This isnt a feature this is a reduction in force both player base, support staff, and servers.
Just admit it.
Take out the discoveries. IM SICK OF DOING THEM AGAIN its like ground hog day!
Take out the fountain of youth. The system is half implemented so dont force us to do the damn thing every 30 days.
BTW you have a large fan base of PVE within this community who run events, trade houses and exchanges. Why would you eventually kill that part of the community?
Thanks for your hard work !
Lacking any content or economy in pve im not surprised its a ghost town and they just shut it down.
Next time i wait till release so i don't have to shelf an EA game for years.
+1 Well said Ron
But you forget one thing, I'd wager over 70% of the complaints are from the younger "Entitled" generation, they paid some money, they "expect" it all straight away.
Ralf, if that happens (definition of 'that') "the Devs walk away and leave the game in an unplayable state in either PvP, PvE or single player modes."
Then I will personally hit you up and purchase a gift card (comparable to your initial cost of Atlas) as a gift for you to compensate you for your wasted time, (how many hours have you spent in Atlas?)
How's that for a sticky tongue well planted on the Devs boot soles? :-D
In all seriousness I sincerely hope they do the right thing by the community and the game. Done well it has enormous potential, that is already showing through in it's current state.
Stress less and enjoy life my friend.
Will we not getting constantly kicked by battleEye? Are ships stuck on the ocean or randomly sinking fixed? Are boats doing pirouettes when hitting a tiny sandbank fixed?
Honestly you guys could bring out 10 new maps but without fixing bugs it's pointless.
Honestly for me personally being an almost exclusively solo player, the old map design and the travel time requirements to acquire resources became too much of a burden to enjoy the remainder of the game. The new map presumes to alleviate some of that burden as will, presumably again, the revamped player progression.
These are things I am interested in and might be enough to persuade me to give Atlas another attempt. I fully expect that many of the same bugs will still exist and as always I hope they will eventually be addressed, particularly for the sake of those who love the game regardless.
To put it more succinctly, of the bugs I experienced while playing, fixing them probably doesn't bring me back to the game. A new map and an improved player progression maybe does. I understand if others do not agree with me, but that's where I personally am.
True that, it has become the plague on Steam
