A lot of people play on Evolved and on other servers too. If you need a thousand people on a server to be able to play on it, you are in the wrong place. There are so many people complaining about Atlas but they are all here in the community, why? Not again the saying we want to warn the others, I think everyone hopes that something will happen at Atlas.
Where is your information coming from? 24 hour peak players is 652 for the entire game and not just 1 server. This game is 100% dead. I do hate to say it because I love this game. I am one of the 652 that play.
I have tried to message all of the companies that helped make this game. I would love to see them bring this to life. I do not know if you actually know the full story of Atlas and how it came to be. If you do want to know you can always look it up. There is no dedicated dev team for this game and it is very sad. It has the potential to overdue Ark.
Given that Snail Games has a branch studio(Snail Games Colorado) making Ark Aquatica, not for Ark ascended but for Ark Evolved to come out in the coming months which literally looks to be Atlas assets, Ark Genesis assets and more, well, your "something will happen" seems to be that. They're claiming they're even going to bring that game's official servers for that map online too.
Wildcard though claims to be distancing themselves from the project preemptively before the Ark Aquatica announcement came out too, which is very telling.
So I'd say your hopes specifically though for Atlas getting anything at this point, are unlikely.
