My Take On The Atlas Servers - How I Played Atlas

From my understanding about the servers being offline I do not think it would affect me at all. In all the years I have played Atlas I have only played Single Player which I believe is still available.

What I would do is to look at the grids of the map and randomly choose a sector to spawn in...... using cheat code I would spawn my pirate into that grid and end up in the water after which I would spawn in a raft close to me...... I would spawn in the raft, swim to the raft , climb aboard, set the sails and go looking for a large island.

Then deal with whatever dangers are on that island before heading to the next island.

Still love the game and still believe that no matter what happens it will still be playable in Single Player if people do not want to join a private server.

still playable but so much potential for online play,missed the boat by a few years on that but having fun in single player.it runs better than ark,buildings better but the world is very empty have found pirate camps and dodged the ships of the damned so who knows.if not i will dl some mods

Myself I am more interested in getting on an island and taming animals instead of dealing with people :)

Guys there are plenty of MP Private server communities out there. IF the devs are done with the game that is in a way a good thing.
Look for NytDragon H15. This is a community server ran by one of the big modders. He is luck to have a great mature admin team 50+ that are laid back and there to help. It is full PVE but some PVP action in a few grids. Lots to do and much fun to be had. Enough mods to make Atlas into a new game every season.
