What you can do now, is find an unofficial server that you like, or go play another game.
Yes, we recognize that you do post here daily(mostly self promotions), but it is also important to point out that when people see such nonsense and attacks you seem to relish in doing towards potential new folks or those still remaining in the community, you're not exactly being a great representative of said remaining community nor your server you also promote daily.
It's rather silly really.
While it is a shame what has transpired and continues to transpire in some ways with the state of things:
1. Devs intentionally do not interact on these forums in this capacity. Some were laid off in May actually and the remaining are now (as before really) are fully working on Ark Ascended. So directing a post to them here is pointless.
2. Steam's policies allow for it to still be sold as the game still can support unofficial and singlle player game play(to an extent). Complaints of it being sold on Steam thus are best directed to Steam vs other players since what I mentioned in point 1.
Also this a common pitfall of games in early access: failing. That is the risk unfortunately taken, especially if you live in an area that does not have strong consumer protections.
3. The only potential glimmer of what may occur in the future is how steam is starting to change its policies. The recent change that steam will refund (in part or whole) failed to deliver future content dlcs/season passes and remove sale of those products on the platform may come to also hold EA games more accountable as well.
Time will tell.
It is a shame and basically it, like ASA and ASE, I tell folks to simply tell 10 friends to tell 10 friends to find something better to put money into playing. So many games on the market that dont embroil themselves in controversies that deserve the time and money to patron.
According to his yt channel he posts vids from on this forum, that may not be the case.
