Crew Recruitment Limit?

Does a crew recruitment limit exist in the game? I can no longer recruit crew members from the Crew Recruiter in Freeport.

Two days ago, I bought 10 crew members, I went back to buy more last night; and, the game would not let me buy more. I tried again later last night and was only able to buy two more crew members.

Today, I cannot buy any crew members at all. Any thoughts?

Not all of them. I will go through and do that when I play next.

So, leveling my current crew only allowed the purchase of 8 more crew members. Why is this a thing?

if it is the same as before, there is a io limit . if you want more you will have to kill sotd and get npc from them.

you can only hire so much from freeport then you have to kill sotd and hire the crew after you killed the sotd ....lol

...and how many is "so much?" satyrus's suggestion worked. After leveling the Level 1 crew members, I was able to hire more.

strange, that sound like some sort of bug. if it is the same as before you can only hire something like 10 and then you have to kill sotd.

there was a bug before were some people can only hire some and then the npc won't let you hire anymore.

mabe killing sotd is to much to get crew members so they dumbed it down?

Have you made sure that all your current crew are over level 1?
even the ones you did not buy from npc trader but ALL of the lvl 1's in your company.
If you are coop or anything with other company members.. its company wide. not player.
