Can the skins/cosmetics system please be changed?

I really don't like how this skin/cosmetic system works in Atlas. I bought all the armor skins for my company but didn't realise i couldn't store them without putting them on armor first. We wanted to put them on fine gear, not common. We haven't made any of it yet as we are occupied with base construction, which takes tons of rss. The same goes for figureheads for the ships. My company has no access to them when i am offline to equip them to their ships because i can't put them in storage or a bookcase. We also got extras for future ships (a 1 stop shopping spree) so i need to ensure i don't lose them.

We don't know what happens if you die or bed teleport either. If we permanently lose the skins, that's just awful (and i want all my gold back, at least for the figureheads). If anyone knows the answer to that, the company would appreciate it! I'm hoping they stay in your character permanently but i don't know.

At the very least, i hope the devs can change it to let us put cosmetics in a bookcase.

That's good to know. So is it safe to bed teleport as well or have you not tried it?
