Painting and Tattoos not working

I've just about broken the left click on my mouse... No matter what I do I cannot paint anything. I have dyes, i have a paint brush. But nothing paints. The only thing i can do is turn the whole canvas/sail/person's body one solid color.
There is no drawing. Is it a keybind that i ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up? I mean left click is still attack... so idk how its broken for just painting.

I don’t know about tattoos but on sails/canvas there are instructions for how to draw in the lower left of the paint screen. You’re better off uploading the design you want though. Much easier to create in a photo editor then convert and import. If you need instructions on how to do that I will try to explain it. There is probably a few YouTube videos out by now explaining it though.

im also having this issue with canvas' paintings, i click and nothing applies to the white canvas...wtf

have to hold shift and left click to thickly paint, the commands should be bottom left of paint window

Same here when I tried at the beginning of the character customization. Thinking maybe I didn't have the dyes to do so, but no one would at this stage, so I assumed it's broken. Might take some time for the devs to get this working as intended. But the usual preferred method for artists is to take the file and do it yourself in Photoshop.....comes out much nicer that way...usually.

The commands at the character creation didn't work. But as some others were thinking about breaking the keybinds… I always use right mouse click for move forward, changing that lead me to believe I broke it.
