Assertion failed and other things

We play on a private server. Three of us have formed a wonderful cluster of islands/maps to explore and play on. Trouble is..... crossing borders into the next map sometimes create the error: Assertion failed....... The game crashes and then for many hours, we are unable to play the game. NOT good when you are in the middle of sailing to your next destination. We have tried several 'fixes' including reinstalling the entire map, restarting characters, etc. A few times, we have been able to relog into the same map only to come back dead, all progress lost. This makes the game frustrating to say the least, and in the end, have lost more than a few players, which is not good for the game itself. Another issue I have yet to resolve is when rezzing at some of the beds, we end up on the floor below, and in some cases, under water! Other than that, the game is wonderful and has plenty of promise! Ideas and/or help with these issues are appreciated very much.

I was having the same issue with Assertion Failed - I tried many things but was finally able to fix it by adjusting my resolution... A strange fix, I know, but it worked.
