Sunken treasure

How the hell do you get the treasure that’s at the bottom of the ocean? I found a quality 13 sunken and when I got down to the bottom there was nothing there

if you see wreckage its there. just dive straight down till you see the broken ship. If you are playing SP, im hearing a lot of things are broken or not working right and this may be one of them.

otherwise, dive thru the bubbles straight down.Personally I find them a waste of time unless you just want a decent amount of starter gold. other wise for loot they are garbage.

you get better items and with less effort grappling a few purple floaters as you sail.

Depends on your goal. In SP, I could not care less about higher tier building parts, since I don't have to fend off attackers; with the exception of a very few pieces that will go into ship building. Gold is what I need, so flotsam is a waste of time to me, whereas sunken treasure is far more profitable. Then there's buried treasure which is even more profitable, along with having BPs for stuff I actually want.
