Can´t destroy Storage Crate on a Cargo Saddle

Hello,
I found a bear in the middle of the water, which was available to claim. However, I can not remove the saddle, because something is built on it. This I can not tear off, because I play on a PVE server. (Also no other damage e.g. from wild animals). Unfortunately, there is also no decay timer on the cargo container (IDK I see no one). Is the bear now forever bound to the saddle?

That has been my experience. You can't unclaim them either.

Very strange. In single player and on a server i was able to demolish my own storage crate off of my bears carriage. You did use the radial menu on the crate itself right?

1. PVE Server
2. Claiming allowed => Was tamed by an other player
3. Cargo Container is from another play => can´t demolish it
