I just read on another thread, that if you quit & reload the game those swimming pirates will respawn on the island.

ive tried leaving and coming back, alll it does is reset the spawns and i have to kill all pirates all over again, but still swimming pirates there

It’s not cheating it’s using admin commands to bypass a game flaw

The dead.. they supposed to be underground. Not a bug. ;)
I'm actually getting annoyed at all the activated maps, which then leave 40-50 undead standing around attacking every who comes near.

Yes, I've tried leaving and returning and reloading as well, no luck. I think this is a bug that directly relates to some of the villages being half underground, or even under water. When the pirates spawn in such villages, and if their feet aren't touching terrain when they spawn, then it appears that they fall to water level under the island.

Until these bugs are fixed, it looks like we have no option except to "cheat" through the bugs.

The OP is speaking of pirates & pirate camps, encountered in solo single-player mode. Not the undead hellspawns that arise from the ground.

Assuming you are speaking of MP servers, it's good to know that once an island is activated (a player visits the island?) the undead are spawned and they don't despawn (unless killed) and eventually build up an army of undead. hmmm

now that you mention it, the villages are half underground...

Another one of these singleplayer posts.... Singleplayer is filled with bugs and is not ready. The devs have made it clear that performance increases, bug fixes, and updates will come to the Official network first. You are going to have a hard time playing Singleplayer without admin cheats. Expect it to be buggy for at least another 6 months if not more.
