cannot gather or attack

so I log in today I am new player ( 45 hours ) I left the beginners Island I bought a ship now I am on a complet new island with few players base around me, I start gathering..hmm I hit trees nothing I try to attack a chicken cause I am starving hmm I cant attack...so what kind of bug is this ? or its something about the island ? I cant gather nor attack...how am I supposed to enjoy this ? xD again I am no longer lvl 8 starting island ! is this has something to do with players claiming flag ? if they claim the island u cant attack wild creature nor gather wood/stone/metal ??? HEEELP I cant play ATLAS

This is why I have left my review a negative for this game. This issue has been going on for over a year now with zero feedback from the devs on when they plan to fix it, or if they're even aware of it. I had the same issue after a "battleye client not responding" kick and there was some nonsense fix that involved trying to join the same server from the main menu but NOT using the rejoin button. Best of luck friend. If you can't get it fixed, demand a refund. If the game breaks to the point you can't play it anymore, the company should not be allowed to keep your money.
