Maple Trees Don't Drop Sap Anymore?

As the title suggests...

Aside from the change to Sugars from Saps, it seems they no longer drop Syrup. Which means you can't get sugars/Saps in those biomes that were dependent on Maple Trees as the source.

Not sure if it's a bug, or intended, but it's not mentioned anywhere in the patch notes.

Not all Maple trees drop it. Only special ones with red/gold leaves.
And make sure you use a pick else you get only wood.

On the wiki is a nice picture on how the tree looks.

If you have the right tree, then I don't know what's going on :)

Yup I'm positive on the tree type, I wouldn't have posted if I was unsure. They don't work anymore.

@CT - what type of biome did you find the trees that you tried so far?
