Your AI crew already repairs your ship automatically using the contents of the resource chest while your ships are anchored. The idea of having AI repair while your ship is on the move would completely remove the need for players to maintain their ships, and discourage having player crews.
But this is broken cause my crew wastes tons of resources cause they keep the ship 100% repaired even while not anchored as long as there is mats in the resource box. Many times I have taken damage and when i anchored to repair to repair there was just a little damage but there is one mats I would be out of.
I even left with plenty of resources taken damage and went to manually repair and I would be out of one of the repair mats. example I had 100 metal took a few good hits from the SoD blockades. I stop at sea to repair and can not cause I am out of metal.
I propose to introduce a bot that restores parts of the ship, and not just its hull.
at the moment bots are doing everything they need.
I am adding a function that restores not only decks and plank
You need to brush up on your communication skills then.
