Hell yes... I play less and less Official these days because Unofficial is SO much better in every regard.
Official is better with
map/grid size
player count
more challenging
more interaction
Unofficial is
Small grids
less players
care bear activated
Little to no challenge
over moderated to the point of being a care bear daycare for kids,
unofficial is better for casuals i agree 100%
Except official server is often the place to go for offline raiding cause when it comes to raiding, casuals don't want to pick on targets that can fight back.
offline raiding is going to happen it's a part of all these survival games where u build bases ect
dayz had the same mechanic people would offline you it's not the most enjoyable but
i understand the position some casuals hold but this idea that official is some
kind of place to come offline is kinda amusing
Casual joins PVP official
then claims land or goes to lawless
then they need to level up to at the very least lvl 30
then they need to farm the materials for the ship
then they need to craft the ship then farm more materials for
ammo
then they need to farm ghost ships for AI
then they need to farm to repair damage they took from ghost ships even if its minor.
then they need to go and find some tiny tribe to attempt to raid
regardless its not some 5 minute thing like it seems you're making it out to be.
any pvper worth there salt knows it takes time to do anything
and if people get wiped by someone like the above they should stick to pve
That means nothing. The top 10 is based off the amount of claims dropped, and I'm sure you don't know where half of them are without using the map.
Yes it is indeed dependant on the claims you posses
but in your opinion that doesn't mean anything because
owning land and having the capacity to defend and hold that land means nothing.
Lol that makes heaps of sense,
Hopefully if real pvp gets added you wont be the first cry about it. Prove me wrong. When actual pvp battles are to be had and rewards for pvp and actual pvp goals.
Then if your company is top 10 you got something to say.
But if my guess is right many of the top 10's will cry and moan for days because real gameplay is added.
"Ban Flippy he made fools of my whole guild laughing the entire time, Waahhhh" lol "We had to get as many as we could to send complaints because he kept making fun of us" rofl
It's based off total claims, even the sea. Can get to top 10 with no land and only sea claims. Alternatively, can have claims on every island in official, and when one is being stolen, the good old fashioned "WHERE IS IT!?" happens where you need someone to search VIA co-ords to figure out where the claim is at.
Having the most claims really doesn't mean much, cause all it means is that the claims were spammed and most likely can't be effectively defended.
if they couldn't be effectively defend why is the top 10 the same company's that have been around since launch by your logic that shouldn't be the case?
No offense with my last reply but the claim system is quite broken. Also no pvp in Atlas yet.
