What is "shroud of war"?
So i noticed a talent named "able mapmaker" or something.. And i see it impacts "fog of war", and "shroud of war"..

Can someone explain precisely how this "shroud of war" works?

the Fog covers things you've never seen before, and the shroud hides any activity that might be taking place outside of your view.

So this doesn't impact the map, but the actual player vision?

no. with the fog active your map is black. travelling unveals the map. the shroud is always active on the map and you only see fights battles and the like when you're close by - in a radius determined by the skills you unlocked
