Server Ping

Evening all. So, not sure how or why, but starting this morning, my ping on our private server is just all over the place. Standing still, will be 54, 62, 33, etc...then freeze and ping to 134, 227, 185, etc. Any ideas?

I have gone through all the steps I could think of, but nothing. The server owner has reset the server, yet I am the only one getting this issue. I have checked for graphics updates; all good. I have restarted my router and PC a few times; all good. I have checked the game files and nothing is corrupted; all good. I called my service provider and all my speeds and such were outstanding and we still even did a factory reset on my modem; all good. I even went as far as changed the download city in Steam from Miami to Atlanta...all the above, and still my ping makes the game essentially lag city.

Again, have done all I can think of. I am the only one on my server experiencing this, so it is not a server issue. I was playing up until midnight before bed last night, NO issues. Login at 5 this morning and yet to play since. I can still enter the game, move around, etc...but the lag spikes are big and frequent to where I am fearful of constant death, or tame death, or crashing my boat.

all i could think is the harddrive, ( SSD or HDD?) could be the problem

(but could also be steam that is causing it atm)

SSD...and up until this morning, it has been smooth gaming. Have tried everything, including just now did a fresh install of the game, but it is still happening. Guessing and hoping just a Steam issue for the area I am in, and will be fixed soon.

all i can say is that steam or atlas (dunno wich one) got issues and we cannot connect so it must have something to do with that ( lets hope its that) for the rest i cannot think from something else atm, i hope you find it goodluck there :)

I really wish the devs would read and try to fix things. So my journey that started yesterday at 5AM with the above, got better around 9PM after uninstalling the game for the 3rd time. I decided to just play and deal with the 2-12s lag spikes and pings, when the game just completely crashed and just fully shutdown instantly. Logged back in...no lag ping the rest of the night. Beautiful!! Even had our server owner update some stuff and got back in with no ping issues.

I go to bed, log in...yay, the same stupid ping issues. I understand that apparently there was supposedly some Steam server issues yesterday, and that things happen, but come on guys. I honestly do not feel like just sitting here uninstalling yet AGAIN just in hopes it fixes this...again. Ironically, once again running validation and it says there is a file that needed to be fixed...again.

You guys make some sweet games, but you really need to listen to some of your feedback and community.
