Building tips?

Ive seen some really cool marina looking bases extendin way out over water... Any tips for building the panels over the water other than pillars? Its really hard to get pillars all the way down in deep water i keep floati g back up so fast and and cant keep still under water to vet them to snap right.

Just floors beneath water ,bring one wall up to water level,after that go ceilings,just hope nothing breaks that one wall you brought up from below.

Started on land and built out using only pillars. Deleted the tiles where the gates currently are. Took alot of time and many tries to get anything free hand right. That small shiyard is off a bit and i will build a new straight one eventually.

I got to do a screen of the whole thing. There is a bridge i built so i wouldnt block the water way out of screen.

Now there is a troll from claimed islands building on the island near me a wall across the entire island.

Troll wall not actually near me but close enough to be annoyed. Guess it could be considered good defense if there was anything to defend against though.

Lawless waters by the way. Alot of building but its 5 minutes from freeport with good wind and no threat from counter claims or anything like that. 4 day active timer is the only thing.

But you can only place ceilings so far out without support. and trying to dive down to place pillars is near impossible with all the floating around and cant stand STILL
