Stuck between servers help please

I was sailing and got kicked from the game in between 2 servers. Now I can’t log in to the server. After several hours I decided to just create a new character and rejoin my company as a new guy (would suck because my old character is leveled up) but the game won’t allow me to do that either. If I click join new atlas, i get the same error. I can join any other server but not the server my character is stuck in. Does anyone have a fix for this

i have had that happen twice but i just left it for the day and when i next logged in it was all good though i did lose my raft both times.
for me the second time it happened i think it was cos i died as i crossed from one to the next server and it really confused the game

Maybe if you had waited for the server to actually come up you could have retrieved it yes , not now though you basically just overwrote your existing character .

The body will likely still exist , the name and company wont though , it will just say "player" and your lvl .

the server was up. Everyone else in the company was back in. One of the players even went and retrieved the ship but I wasnt on it.

the server was up. Everyone else in the company was back in. One of the players even went and retrieved the ship but I wasnt on it.

You would be floating in the water asleep at the border for future reference, iv had this happen in both unofficial and official it dupes your body , if they roll back there will be two of you with gear.

Maybe but no one coould find my body anywhere around the ship (could have overlooked it but why would that prevent me from respawning, wouldnt i eventually drown or be killed by something?

only if someone was in render distance would your body die or take damage , i did the same thing with a chicken , threw it overboard to give an extra slot and left it behind , 2 days later my buddy sees it and asks why is our chicken out here seconds later the fish n sharks spwned ect and boom it was dead and as for the respawn if you go into another grid and it goes down all you can do is spawn fresh on another grid next to it , you cannot load in on that body , and if you do create another this is were the issues arise , the server doesnt know wich to load and obviously removes one of them from your local files thus rendering it a nuetral sleeper i imagine this is why the freeports were filled with bodys for weeks aswell , people drop in spawn and create then do the same on a new grid.

I would be fine with that, but the game wont allow me to create a new profile on that server. I did a test on the pvp server. created a character. then logged out and clicked join new atlas, selected the pvp server and clicked. It went thru everything but when i selected the location to spawn it loaded my original character i created, on the server i started him from. So something is not allowing me to create a new character if a character already exists on the atlas im trying to join. Hope that makes sense.

I think im going to do a fresh install and see if that helps. Cant get worse.lol

you could try just removing the player data files but i think it will get replaced as soon as you try to join the server

Ill try it. Where do i find those?

for me the path is > This pc > local disc c > program files x86 > steam >steam apps>common >atlas>shootergame >saved > local profiles .

You may be able to figure out wich file is wich using the dates but they are just named with numbers

So I wiped the profiles and re-launched Atlas. The only option was to join a new Atlas (good). I tried to create a new Atlas on NA PVE (where my character is stuck) and got the same message unable to query server (bad). When I did the same thing on the pvp server I was able to create a character and start a new game...Just cant seem to do it on the NA PVE server (not sure why).

So far the support ticket has 2 comments, 1 that says welcome to Atlas, the game you’ll never get to play (adlib) and a follow up comment from myself explaining what I’ve done so far to try and fix this.

This happened to a group of us before to get back in I joined new atlas when u get the error message just sit there for 5 mins or so and it will eventually load u into the game randomly and u will be glitching back and fourth on boarder I’ll need to try to run to the edge of ship to get it to finish transfer and then find ur duplicate body and kill it
