How can i protect my ships when offline?

i'm in all honestly sick of waking up and seeing all my ships that i made with freaking effort destroyed by a random fat oaf, i see no ways for protecting my ships
NPCs are useless since they can only defend if someone tries to get on the ship
they cant defend in long distance
sooo i guess we gotta wait for a patch where we are actually able to defend our ships?

Or, you know, you could stop playing solo. It's an MMO and i'll raid your ships every night if you leave them.

Well in all fairness.... its worse in pve because you can sink ships and all the victim can do is watch. So theres that.

hire someone to come to your house and watch your ♥♥♥♥ while you sleep? or get some more players in your group that like to play at night? gets so E.U players or get U.S players so people will be on at different times....

Build a boat stall if you’re on Pve and park it in there. On pvp there’s not much you can do if you’re not there to defend it.

So ask a question then call people stupid for answering you. No wonder everyone destroys your stuff when you’re not online. Wall off your boat with big doors and then put some NPC's on cannons around the newly built storage pen.

Of course it will never be 100% safe but a lot won't bother trying.

The more annoying it is to sink your ships the less people who don't know you will Try to do so. Think yourself if you wanted to "Grief" People, would you sink your boats? when you say, no you'll prob be good for a bit. i do NOT recomend screaming in general chat in game about this. But yeah 90% of your responses are from morons who do nothing but offline raid.

Aaaaannnnddd you can’t even defend it. They’ll clime on your ship as you watch. All you can do is try to get what you can off of it before it goes down.
