Crew weapons

Can you give your NPC crew weapons?

We can't, not sure if they intend to in the future but it doesn't seem to work right now.
You can have them manning guns etc that are pre placed.

lol left my crew on aggresive took em all off the boat and they went ham and punched a croc to death all while it was trying to get to me

Haha, I wanted them to help kill the crocs too :D

You can give trhem Weapons, and Armor, dunno about firearms/bow but you can equip melee weapons.

I just tried and no you can't give them melee weapons.

Mine all have a basic sword and a basic shield anything over basic they can't use ;) Seems to be sword and Shield they can only use for now..

they take Swords lol the regular sword. Must be regular lvl I think it's fine or something I can post a screenshot here soon. Let me finish setting up my Server Decay! ;) Unless it was changed it the latest update it works.

Common Sword? that's all I can find for sword. It looks like a cutlass hence why I called it that.

EDIT: I, by accident, equipped it just now. Just put it in the inventory and press E on it. Was thinking too much and was looking for a slot to put it xP

Yup common sorry they can also use a common wood shield. Right click or hit E to equip.
