Animals to farm thatch

Hey guys and girls,

My first problem is gone and I have the next one. Which animal is the best to farm thatch? Actually I have an elephant which is a good wood farmer. I have an bear which is a good fiber farmer. I already tried the bull... but you’ll gather faster with a pickaxe. Tomorrow I’ll get a rhino but then??? Rhinos do stones and metal but do they that’s as well? What about a giraffe? Is this a good thatch farm or more for Berry’s and stuff?

Can someone help me out?

i tested out all the animals on my private server and there is no animal for thatch or flint really, think they dont what this to be totally Ark ;)

Hmmm have seen that giraffes are for thatch bears for fiber, elephant for wood... Not idea about stone or flint or metal

Rino is supposed to be stone, flint and metal, thatch is supposed to be the bull but it sucks bad lol better to use a pick

did they change it? when i tamed the bull a week ago it gave less than pickaxe

You got a bad bull, tame a higher level and put points into damage.

oh ok thank you i will :D its lvl 63 dont think its that bad :x but its at home since a week cause we had no use

tried it out it has 166% dmg and does around 60 thatch from a bigger tree, thats not good at all x.x

My bull can run through a forest and like 2 hit trees getting around 120-250 per tree depending on size. Sure you might get more with a pick but its not as fast considering the movement speed, weight and time taken to harvest, etc.
