taming bears is pure cancer

Tried taming a bear today, finding the sweet spot where it cant bite u and u can feed it is really tough. Having to refind that sweet spot every bola isnt making it any better.

Am I the only person who finds this taming system to be unbelievably unenjoyable?

yep taming sucks in this game... worked realy good in ark so no idea why they had to try something new.

Agreed. For the points cost and risk it isn't worth the bother. It took 3 people to tame a lvl 2 ostrich in a video I watched and one of those died in the process.

You have to trap the animal in a cage, or a stucture. There were two bears near our base last night. One of the company owners built a roof going into small foundation area with a huge double door, so the animcal can walk in, but cant escape. The walls were placed such that a charecter model can run though it but the animals cant.

Step 2. punch the bear and RUUUUUUUUUUuun to the roof and kite it into the one way pit., once its inside the pit you will have an easier time finding the sweet spot to feed it honey.

We tamed 2 bears in less then 30 mintues. Dont know why people are complainig about Taming, its very easy with pirate cages and once you have the animal, its extremly powerful.
