Early Game Cooking needs a buff
I'm sitting on all kinds of very useful food stuff but I can't cook a damn thing because I don't have any farming! I mean Some Simple Early Cooking Recipies would be awsome. Gritty Wild Beans and Rice! Rice and Fish Pottage. Simple Meat and Bean stews. Also can use simple dried spices using tumeric and Celantro!. So many simple things yet I'm stuck making a berry tea taht gives me Yellow vitamins instead of orange WTH is up with that!??!

I really agree with Tumeric and Celantro! There really should be some more recipes using them.

Tier one cooking should all be generic recipes. House Wine (any berry + water), Stew (any vegitable + meat+ water) and Fish Broth (Fish and water)

I might start cooking skill if it gives blue vitamins, to save wasting time hunting fish with a spear all the time. Very tedious.

Early tier recipes should use the generic ingredients (ie Vegetable/Fruit/Meat/Fish) but perhaps two or three types of vege and/or fruit. Raw and/or cooked meats. Water or no water. Salt. Seeds.

Higher Tier recipes should start to require specific vegetables and fruit.

This would work better IMO.

I have not cooked a single thing yet as the early recipes ingredients are too specific.

So yeah also need some sort of deep storage for food, I noticed how things stack in the Resource ontainers and have some thing like that for food you need to be on the ground floor of a building and call it a Celler where you can store larger amounts of food for longer. It's Anoying to have soooo much fooood but it all last the same amount of time as One Stack :(

get salt, make a preservation bag and put preserving salt ( made in mortar and pestle ) in it.

Food lasts a lot longer now.
Jason Stargazer Jan 24, 2019 @ 11:58pm
Done that, still doesn't last long enough to help the fact a plentiful harvest only last the same amount of time as a single stack in a salted perserving sack

OMG the Cooked foods in perserving sacks NEEDS fixing. Litterally rotting away almost as fast I can cook up with the farming and all that goes into making food XvX

Even though it shows I've got in some foods litteral Day of perserving time
