How to gather seeds

How to dig/gather seeds from ground? i need Veggie Seed but idk how to get them :(

Harvest plants and they drop. Use a Sickle and you get more, but they still aren't a common drop. If it's for Farming be aware crop plots are producing ONE item at the moment, so Farming is a bit busted. :( I was hoping to Farm, but...

BUt, description on seed says that they can be accuire from ground, not ftrom harvesting plants.
Today we probably harvest (useing sicle) more than 100k and no seed... :(

One item (max 4 with the skills and shovel) is nothing. You need at least 50 wheats to tame elephants for example. By the time you get your 5th wheat, the first ones will be spoiled.

Solution: put 50 crop plots? Doesn't sound right.

Please devs, do something about it. Maybe not 300 as in ARK but something in between.

I have my private server set to 5x harvest, have harvested thousands of plants, have a total of 4 seeds. Something is broken, LOL.

And preserving bags are broken. Timer is correctly shown (x12) but decay rate is still (x1). In other word, you can see 1hour 50min and 10s later 1hour 48min left... And sometimes it works but only for like one item over four... Quite broken!

eerytime I have restarted in a freeport, I hand pick everything and always end up with a ton of seeds. But I pick a lot of veggies so....

Just FYI concerning farming and neutral claims. If you're building within a neutral claim outside of a lawless zone, harvesting crops within neutral zones produce zero seeds. Plants grow noramlly, but there's a bug affecting seeds within neutral claim zones.
