Help where is iron ore

anyone know where iron ore is ?

search for rocks and press h that will show what it contains mostly those big rocks with green moss on it will give metal

Rock with bluish green moss, they not taller than regular ones but seem larger... like wider.

we get metal but need other ores in the metalurgy thing doesnt take metal needs iron ore >.<

I got told there are ''iron'' tools, better ones than metal. But in order to make iron ingots we need iron ore (not any kind of metal ore). But where is it

On a Freeport Isle I found two burnt-copper type of rocks, and they gave 89 Metal between them.. I few yards off I got 42 Crystal. Never seen either before. Is Metal classed as Iron once it's smelted or something?

Iron ore is a white rock with blue/green looking veins. For metal you can get a few from picking grey rocks

Iron can be used for all metal recipes but some stuff requires iron bars later.
