Server hosting

I have seen talk about atlas cant run on of one server and need to rent multiple servers, is that true? Only one site ive seen you can run multiple servers to get more of the map in the game

It's one island per server, so with one, you can't leave the starter island. Already tried.

Hmh, I seen people play on servers from PingPerfect and they have only one server and they can go everywere...

I rented a server from Nitrado. It is still being set up apparently. So you can't leave the starter island at all?

My server on PingPerfect is now up and it seems Like that there is only one island, sadly I haven't found any game.ini files that show that I can change that.

Just looked on their website and there are stating that server clusters arnt available yet. And im not entirely sure but every map segment in Atlas is meant to be run on a different server and also a different IP adress. So i guess they just have to get their ♥♥♥♥ in order before they can actually offer multiple map segemtens.

I could be wrong though.

That sounds about right to me, i guess i just have to play on one island to start with. :D

Yea, it is not worth it to buy 6 cluster servers at PingPerfect, the cheepest is 120 euro for 6 servers clustered and Nitrado can do that for half that. I would for now advice to use Nitrado.

Okay, Nitrado still haven't made my server yet, after 24 hours, dunno why, it anoys me a bit, but i guess there is a reason for it. First time i ever exp a Host being that slow with the making of a server. Patience.

Im hosting a Nitrado server, 10 slots for $13/month. I got Atlas Main which is a freeport with 4 islands (albeit all starter islands) and i got 1 expansion server in a cluster right beside the freeport square which has 4 or 5 islands. Lots of stuff to do, me and my mates have a few schooners going after ghost ships but the content for us is drying up aside from building a big base. The expansion server is also as if your hosting a new server which costs an additional $13/month

I have 1 server with 7 islands on it. It is 1 grid per server though.

My starter zone, I have 1 freeport, plus 3 other islands.

So wait, you get more than one Island in one server or...???
