A Reminder that Jeremy Stieglitz is involved

I see Jeremy Stieglitz, I avoid like the plague.

Perks to actually remembering obscure video game history (particularly in regards to Trendy Entertainment for this one), you remember the devs that already have a history as scum.

Some may remember the issues that Trendy had during the making of Dungeon Defenders 2 (garbage game as it ended up). The harassment, the sexism (gods, I sound like some politically correct nutjob, but this stuff actually happened,) the endless crunch, the complete switch in game direction to a MOBA that would never happen.

That was all Jeremy Stieglitz.

When Studio Wildcard had to give up $40m to Trendy Entertainment? That was thanks to Jeremy Stieglitz going against his contract clauses with Trend while trying to poach their developers for Wildcard.

The man is scum, and he's one of two heads of this so-called 'company'.

It's bad enough that I had Ark before Jeremy became publicly involved in that game.

How did they make Dungeon Defenders 1 right? but every other game after that was just a cheap and fake flex tape copy product

Trendy made DD1, it was rock solid.
Everything since has been meh. We know that Jeremy is a bad leader with shady business practices from even when he was at Trendy.

Wildcard made Ark. It was a good game, for the most part, until they started going shady themselves. Atlas is literally skinned over Ark after what people found of the menu way back when. Now Dark Souls Ark? Really? Jeremy really can't help himself following popular trends, can he. When he was with Trendy, DD2 was going to be a MOBA of all things, just because they were popular at the time.

I just won't buy anything he's part of.
