The need to block 123 on server side

Since private servers will be mostly small parts of the game there should be a code to block 123 on official mega server like many private Ark servers do.

123 are mostly cheaters and trolls that somehow enjoys destroying the game population and using of tawdry ways to gain advantage over others.

We could all open s petition and push for it.

Now on the other hand, with this disastrous launch and the very obvious “Mod” and not a full game as described the game might go empty on its own lol

yep its dark n light all over again, people hyped defending the game to the teeth, and no one playing it 4 months later lol.

im ok with 123 since its a way for nobody knowing who you are, on a pvp game where names are important

How would you defend gainst 123. i can think of no real way to do it personally, do you hve suggestions?

"anyone with 123 as a name is blocked" then they will be asd.
"anyone with X will be blocked. " well now they will just go with Y.

like how would one go about fixing this "issue"

same way you defend from anyone else, you see their tribe name, and its 123 then youre out of luck.
i think squares are worse, since they speak asain and theres no way to communicate, they wipe you instantely like in ark. at leaste being a 123 myself i can be invisible to anyone and not being raided because they know you i am.

you gotta join them if you cant against them, its the same with the gamma, everyone increases it and youre even able to macro it to a key, that breaks the entire night and theres no need for light sources (which i like a lot, nights in this type of game is important but cant play it dark cause im in disadvantage) so you gotta increase it yourself to be able to see same as them.

I don’t know how private servers do it in Ark but any 123 and odd names get blocked by whatever algorithm they have like those empty square boxes and such

the 123 name is for people that are hiding so people have a hard time finding what server they are in. so there can be a massive amount of players with 123 and they will all blend in hiding each other.

the square boxes you refer to is your computer unable know what characters to use. you need to add localization files to the game files to read Chinese characters for example.

Simple solution would be not allowing players steam ID ingame and only show their ingame name they choose during character creation.
