What setting do you use?

I let the game choose my settings etc. Windowed fullscreen is my only change. But I messed around with using Low or Ultra settings, I always get 10-20FPS.

PC specs: Nvidia 1070TI, 32gb Ram, i5 8600K

Same for me, no matter if I change the quality or the resolution, I get max 13 FPS on a 1080TI

Ive been getting around 30fps on the starter island but around 70 in open water. The second island I reached dropped it to around 40

In your launch options put the following (right click ARK, select properties,click SET LAUNCH OPTIONS).

For DirectX 9
-sm2 -d3d9

Worked in ark when i played it a couple of years ago! :D

Huh, when i tried to force d3d10 though the game wouldn't even start.
