put it in your hotbar and click it when you are in a fresh water pond (you recognize it becase you can drink even using E when you are in it), or put it in the inventory of water sprinkles maybe (didnt check the hydric system of this game yet but in ark was like that)

Put it in your hotbar, stand in fresh water and press that hotbar key--it'll let you drink and fill your waterskin at the same time. If you need to drink from it on dry land, just press that hotbar key. You can also fill waterskins from your inventory by hovering your mouse over the waterskin and pressing the E key. Rain will fill up your water bar without having to do anything, but you can also fill a waterskin in that way--definitely the hotbar one, can't remember if it also works with the inventory ones.

It rains? I haven't seen it, although it might be a very subtle effect. Anyone else noticed it raining ingame?
