ATLAS
What a disaster
Wouldn't be surprised if the game got delayed for a fourth time. Seriously, what are these developers doing? If they want to release a game, why set a date that unreasonable as they did (they should have given themselves a few days in-case something popped up). This is turning into a joke now.

The lack of communication is also something else lol.

These dev's were originally wildcard dev's.

This is not uncommon, and likely will be very common with atlas releases. They have a nack for delaying. At this point I think it's a joke to them and they do it out of humor.

The thing that is really weird, is that they cannot even communicate with people. They just let things slip by. Hopefully the reviews mention this upon release, or if the game is going to be a buggy and laggy mess.

Their latest ark dlc release, extinction, had a 6 month delay, followed by an hourly delay. We were expected to have it per their "hours to minutes" release table at 10am PST. Then that time came, minutes after, no response. Then "game will be available in 1 hour, followed shortly after less than an hour."

This happened multiple times until about 6pm PST the same day. Literally reupped the timer like putting in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quarter for more play time at an arcade.

So I repeat, this will be a consistent behavior, and you should expect no less or you will be disappointed multiple times.

That's exactly the way they handled the development of ARK.

I think it will be delayed until after the holidays

Just write a negative review on all their games and downvote all their videos.

I clear sign that the game is NOT worth paying any money for at this point.. But suckers will eat this trash right up and ask for seconds..

This kind of behavior within the games industry is what made it crash in the mid eighties.. We are due for another at this rate..

Just release it and give us the buggies. I'd rather suffer with bugs then suffer another moment without this game.

Hey guys. I'll just leave this here:

Still, am hoping for a better launch and turnaround...

Everyone keeps saying "the devs this' and "the devs that". I hate to break it to you, but the guy designing and building your car doesn't have a say on when it's being released for sale. There are investors, owners, financiers, etc., who all want the game released before xmas. The discussions look like so: "Release the game before xmas or we'll get somebody in here who can." The response? "Sure thing, I'll make it happen."

The game isn't ready, never was ready, and won't be ready for quite some time. That doesn't mean the company doesn't require money to survive through production, nor that investors want to see a return on their investment, now.

Keep telling yourself that. Remember grapeshot games is not studio wildcard anymore meaning they don't operate under the publishers rules. They also are the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dev's that operated ark. These guys don't need money. These are the same people who operated and built ark. They have money. What they don't have is respect, and they never will have it again.

They had an opportunity to rebuild their reputation, but they threw that down the drain.

Welcome to Ark 2.0 highlighting on pirates on terrible ship controls.

Anyone who followed the development of Ark, especially during it's opening launch weeks, should know how this is going to play out. Get comfortable, because we are going to be here a good long while as the devs try to fix their broken ass product...

How long you ask? Well Ark still has core issues... So.... Yeah...

Apologists are obnoxious. The complaint is simple and reasonable: If you're not ready to release something, set more reasonable expectations on the release date. Don't literally build hype and delay four times. That's NOT how you build a trust in your customer base.

If I ran a burger joint and routinely took 2 hours to deliver a meal, I would get bad reviews and DESERVE them. It's that simple. So stop being obnoxious apologists who support ♥♥♥♥♥♥ QA and service, because that's exactly why we can't have nice things.

If this is what Ark went through, then I hope it is as good as Ark! I'll be playing it.

The only reason this ♥♥♥♥ keeps happening is cause we let it .

The devs are thinking awesome 20 k more suckers who will drop monney in our half asked game.
