This is not uncommon, and likely will be very common with atlas releases. They have a nack for delaying. At this point I think it's a joke to them and they do it out of humor.
Their latest ark dlc release, extinction, had a 6 month delay, followed by an hourly delay. We were expected to have it per their "hours to minutes" release table at 10am PST. Then that time came, minutes after, no response. Then "game will be available in 1 hour, followed shortly after less than an hour."
This happened multiple times until about 6pm PST the same day. Literally reupped the timer like putting in a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ quarter for more play time at an arcade.
So I repeat, this will be a consistent behavior, and you should expect no less or you will be disappointed multiple times.
This kind of behavior within the games industry is what made it crash in the mid eighties.. We are due for another at this rate..

Still, am hoping for a better launch and turnaround...
Keep telling yourself that. Remember grapeshot games is not studio wildcard anymore meaning they don't operate under the publishers rules. They also are the same ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dev's that operated ark. These guys don't need money. These are the same people who operated and built ark. They have money. What they don't have is respect, and they never will have it again.
They had an opportunity to rebuild their reputation, but they threw that down the drain.
Welcome to Ark 2.0 highlighting on pirates on terrible ship controls.
How long you ask? Well Ark still has core issues... So.... Yeah...
If I ran a burger joint and routinely took 2 hours to deliver a meal, I would get bad reviews and DESERVE them. It's that simple. So stop being obnoxious apologists who support ♥♥♥♥♥♥ QA and service, because that's exactly why we can't have nice things.
The devs are thinking awesome 20 k more suckers who will drop monney in our half asked game.
