ATLAS
How do i protect my ship when going offline?
Pretty stupid that the ship stays when logging off. Wasted 8 hours building a ship, then it was gone the next Day, WTF. Its not very solo friendly game, Just want to quit this♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game looked promising, but this was a major turn off.

Typical pvp reply.

How about sorrounding your ship with a built stone warehouse that completely encases it? It’s a feat of game engineering but possible

I dont mind pvp, or that my base get raided, but the damn ship i would like too log off., I guess you zergers love wiping out parked ships that no one protect, but as a solo player, its just a chore, have wife and Kids and generally a life outside this game. But i guess people like you with no real life dont mind sitting around 24/7 watching over their ship...

Maybe when you get out of mums basement you will understand

A PVP 'hero' flies in to deride one who is aghast at the cowardly move of attacking an anchored ship. What a surprise.

There is no honor among thieves and for that matter gutter pvpers!

These clowns 🤡 complain about PVEers but don’t realize it’s their behavior that is the reason they have so few targets!

npc guards ? xD

Leaving npc on puckle guns balita or catapults ?
they were nerfed beyond use , they cannot kill basic creatures with them lol literally pathetic damage .

Deck cannons with npc on ? oh wait .........

All of these things broken because of greedy , childish crybaby pvp players.

Welcome to the persistent survival game genre. If it's new to you, and you're used to more traditional multiplayer environments, it is understandable you might presume your ship and your character would disappear when you log out. But, just think about the game mechanics a bit and it becomes apparent that is not feasible. What if you have multiple ships? What about your base(s)? Should the structures disappear when you are logged out? What if someone builds there while you're logged out? Or parks a ship where you ship was?

Now, there is such a thing as offline raid protection, but it is usually an optional server setting in the games that have it.

Exactly right, the avg pvper plays a game for about 40 hours, then get's bored and moves on, the avg pver plays for about 4000 hours.. then gets bored and moves on. Pvp trolls will never understand why their bank accounts are empty and they haven't moved on in life. That's karma for you. Leave em to it.

As for ship protection, pvp game.. why do you want protection against pvp attacks? They only removed player bodies from the game, because they were lagging out the servers with a million sleeping ex players in every freeport.. They should remove the freeports.. and bring back the bodies. Offline raiding is what every pvper desires anyway. They just won't admit to it.

Watch any pvp video on yt or twitch etc.. it's all offline raiding and ganking solo ships etc. Ah to be in pvp these days. *yawn*

You can buy an island and get PVP protection for 13-14 hours a day that you define, but 8-9 hours are designated for PVP which means your base/boats/etc can be attacked. This allows you to have protection during the hours you log off.

Alternatively, you can be a settler on an island of which the people are friendly towards you and allow you to build/prosper and in return you automatically pay towards their taxes with everything you harvest.

There are lots of things you can do though. You can build walls around your base to add extra layers that they will need to blow through in order to get to your things. You can also add defensive placements such as Puckle Guns, Cannons, etc with NPCs mounted on them so they will shoot at players/ships/tames, etc. Of course everything you do can ultimately be undone by a group of players so it's a learning curve... but the biggest thing is being on a player run island with protection that will keep you going.

All PvP game is" free for all depend of the rules the server contains" so people may find it better to join a clan on game like this.

Take care and have a nice day mate.

Protect it with cannons, walls, more players... Go to pve if you don't like the way the majority of pvp survival games work
