Can you log off in a aboat then log back in in the boat if it's been moved?

My friends have yet to set up a real base, and when we log off, if one of us moves the boat at all, we'll spawn in the water instead of the boats current position. Is there a way to fix this? Really annoying to not be able to play without everyone, or constantly sailing backwards to previous islands.

yes its fine your body stays in game.. so will move around with the boat

most of the time if you move the boat into another grid your body will fall off especially in pve
best thing to do is store you gear before logging and make sure you have beds on your boat

Best way is put all gear on boat and then teleport back to base and log off. You can always teleport back to whatever ship as long as it has a bed.

At some point they'll figure out the needed code to keep this from happening. But the work around is easy enough if you follow the above advice.

Yes the devs have some sort of masochistic issue. Which now shows in their sales and refunds. And I bet they didn't learn a thing from it. This last patch that turns your ship into a piece of ice on a frozen pond during a rain storm just shows how far they want to aggravate the player rather than making them want to play thier game. I wouldn't be playing it if it wasn't for the mods. And wanting more mods that take more of the stupid out of the game. The devs will be piling it on apparently.
