Cant join non dedicated server

As thetitle says, my bf just hosted a non-dedicated server so we could play together. But i cant join in any way. Cant use the overlay and select him then click join game or anything. Cant find him in server lists either...

If he invited me it only says; invited you to play Atlas. Nowhere does it say anything to join.

Tried it without battle-eye aswell but no difference

we found that sometimes it changes the game name back to default which is the creators name. Best to do a search using the ping, being close should be the lowest. But on many times we found each other games sometimes a couple pages in. If its passworded then you need to click the button to see all password protected servers.

In steam library tab. Top left go View/Servers/Favorites/Add ip and you can direct connect or you can usally click on his name in friends list and join game that way. Hope this helped
