You don't need to claim land in single player. There is a setting that will let you turn off decay and just build where you like. There are no claim flags for single
REALLY? im such noob lol. Do you know by chance where in settings? also thank you for responding so fast XD
On the launch screen, left side menus, on the advanced tab. Among other settings, you'll see a check box for disabling PVE structure decay.

Either way, the decay timer will reset every time you start up the game, but by checking the box you won't even have to see the timers.

There are also some good YouTube vids for single player settings that you may or may not want to use, mostly for convenience or quality of life.
omg you guys rock thank you so much!
It's what we're here for. :steamhappy:

I'm playing SP for a longer period and still haven't found a way to switch off the random decay of structures. I've disabled PVE structure decay in settings, but the problem is: it's not that kind of 7 Days player decay. Can't place that damn Land Flag, so single elements of building, storage etc disappear randomly and besides any timer.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

That's what i've done since i started. Doesn't solve the problem.
Yeah, also found same problem, but managed to turn of decay in INI..., but according to Official map, N5 is not Lawless, but if I try and plant flag, it says region is Lawless and can't claim.

Not at all. When there is no logic or notification that you dont need it in SP.....its not about you being noobish, its about the devs being noobish as devs....and they are obviously.

But it's ea so all is forgiven.....but it can be irritating....as we can.

IN Singleplayer all islands are lawless by default (cant claim them) Can build on them though.
Look up -changing INI files- for Atlas Singleplayer... there is a chunk of things that you can add or change or toggle true/false in them to further change your singleplayer game. BE careful though, dont f it up :)

I have the same issue. When I leave my home base and travel the map, I come back and random structure pieces are missing. I have "Disable PVE Structure decay" checked, however it still happens. Super annoying to replace a bunch of walls and ceilings every time when I return from a long trip. Even some ships in my docks have sunk because structures disappeared. Playing on Xbox so I can't mess with the ini either. Any ideas?
That's either a bug or you're somehow building structures that don't have proper structural support and when you zone it's checking and they're getting broken.
love seeing happy faces:steamhappy:

One of the joys of single player with this game. Never heard of this happening to anyone playing online, but single player has a few unique bugs. Of course you can just use admin cheat commands and get all the stuff back and fix things too.
