Also by the sound of it you're computer isnt crappy. If you have a Nvidia graphics card then you should have had Geforce experience installed as soon as you brought that computer since it's the thing that installs your drivers etc.
That's a big negative. You should never install Geforce Experience if you know what you are doing. It's the equivalent to having an app on your dumb phone....only there to data mine, and eats up more resources than its worth....which isn't a thing IMO. Then just update the Nvidia drivers yourself when needed. No need for more bloat ware that does very little.
I don't even think you need a Nvidia card to use Geforce now. It's all cloud based. Nasty lag I'm sure.
This sounds like an issue specific to Geforce Now, so you should probably post on their forums for support. https://forums.geforce.com/default/board/199/geforce-now/
Well that depends on who you are. I know how to install drivers without using GE but simple popup and click for driver updates is fine, and I've never noticed any resource lost, I mean if it is it's not effecting me in anyway. I use the shadowplay alot so two birds with one stone there.
I messed up on my reply anyway haha I totally forgot about Geforce Now and thought was talking about Experience and that he had never downloaded his drivers untill now. :'D
