dark and light wasn't the same company.

Though, the game is already playable, only few bugs that still, but no more big issue as it was before.

I don't really understand your thread.
I mean, the game has patchs every weeks. Phase 1 began. so..

Snail owns Wildcard. Wildcard owns the assets being used by Grapeshot. It's likely that Snail owns Grapeshot.

Just search this company s games and u are gonna understand what i am saying they are always releasing game with different concepts and just what money they gathered.

They are using for ark and leave from game to another new concept game that is why i dont wanna play snail game anymore lots of them buggy ♥♥♥♥ but this game seems nice again like others if i buy this and they make same thing this too i will be sure i am retarded

tbh all games are cash grabs, some just bleed you longer than others

at least we can play smoothly some of them , not tilting all the time

Atlas is more smoothly that ubi game at launch.
And here at least it's an EA so we now before buying.

Actually I have 50 to 80 fps on full ultra 2k.
A bit less when close to hell big base.

But still very decent, and better than Ark

Not a "cash grab" If you mean they just tossed the game on the market and then abandon it.
Not a "cash grab" if you mean charge you once for the game then charge you micro transactions to play the game to be able to "win the game" and or be better than others in that game.
Not a "cash grab" if you mean charge you for the game then make you buy anything other than the cost of the game to play the game.
It is a "cash grab" if you mean, you pay for the game once and play it. :P

They have been steady and working on it for nearly a year in its development and don't seem to be slowing down on its development so far, so unless something really bad happens I dont see them as stopping, they have a set path they are working towards and it will be in development for a nother couple of years.

It's always a cash grab when they show you footage of a finished product to sell their game and it never achieves that potential they sold you on. Depending on the scale of the game it could take several years for it to possibly come close to that potential. After a year if there is little to no progress.....it's a cash grab.

Ark/Atlas aren't cash grabs, but they have used devious tactics to maintain sales..... they all do.

In comparison to a real developer and what is truly a AAA title Rockstar puts out some quality stuff in comparison to almost every other dev on the market. Damn does RDR2 look and run well on a PC. Makes any of these other games look like something from decades ago. Shows you what can happen with good development rather than the Bush league EA stuff we see on Steam all day long.

dude i get the same bugs from day one!!!!!!!!!!! if you have a large gateway and try to place it on a build above you or on a cliff platform above you at any height instant FATAL ERROR and have to restart computer SAME BUG SINCE RELEASE.

LADDERS STILL ARE SOOO HARD TO CLIMB ARE YOU KIDDING ME (ontop of that sometimes depending how you are standing your toon grabs the ladder from a different distance like closer or farther from the ladder which cause you to get blocked climbing through hatchdoors this is very easy to replicate)

when swimming and coming onto shore if there is any rock or bump or foundation your character either A) is useless and cant go up it and continues to swim because no pathing B) grows rabbit legs and springs 10 ft into the air ready to dunk a basket ball. great solution to no pathing or whatever it is..

BUILDING AND QOL~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the porportions are NOT GOOD
the size of foundations and ceilings
im talking about the square.
2x2 should be 1
2x2 wood squares should be 1

i feel like im playing minecraft with how small these currently are

GUNS AND WEAPONS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
the interpolation of projectiles is completely chaotic
tell me you can throw spears or shoot bows and THE VISUALS reflect the DAMAGE. this is completely false as you can turn any creature into a porcupine and cause 0 damage!!!!!!!!!

then because of this they are useless in PVP because even if you land hits they dont register. you litteraly have to do you own predictions, or interpolations, for your projectiles to land hits..................... its honestly difficult at first.

so to counter this they made the bullet projects CounterStrike style. MEANING they instantly travel to the crosshair location and you can perform headshots from any distance because the gravity doesnt effect the bullets.

and on top of the playing with XBOX players is horrendous. they crash, lag, can't keep up all because glitches. its sad they are friendly..

What out of those trailers and the cover art have you not seen in game?
I Have seen all of it but, for one thing.. The airship on the cover art.

When the game first released, it was a piece of trash. Basically an Ark re-skin.

I tried it again 2 days ago and I'm hooked. They really changed the game to an MMO unlike any other. It reminds me of an old-school MMO.

I bought this game a few weeks ago. I had read the reviews. I wasn't expecting much. I have been actually enjoying the game. For the most part I have been doing single player, but have also been dabbling in multi-play. There are bugs, but this is early access, it's still in development so bugs are to be expected. I have been running the game with mostly 'epic' settings with no issues. I do wish there was multiple saves in game, sometimes things get fubar. But what I have done is create a backup folder for my saves and manually back up my game before any big event. Launching a ship for example or when I am out exploring in case I die and can't spawn back on my ship. Bugs happen, backing up your saves minimizes your time lost.

So far despite the bugs I have been having a blast. I find myself playing Atlas more than some of the recently released pc games I have bought.
